Stake County Fair

On Saturday we went to the annual Stake County Fair for our church. It was awesome! We stayed for over 3 hours and had lots to eat and tons to do. The members went all out.
Just a few of the games the girls played.
Em getting started early on her putting.
They had the entire cultural hall decorated to look just like a fair. They did an amazing job.

Em sharing her popcorn with the missionaries.
Our visit to the Botanical Gardens. We must have gone on the most humid day of the year....so we only stayed an hour. Yuck!
The girls watching the mini storm that brought lots and lots of rain.
Em chowing down on her red velvet cake on a stick at Cupcake.
My strawberry and chocolate cupcake. Yum!!
Run Em run!
This is what the girls do on Saturday mornings while I clean the house.

Exciting Weekend for the Roberts

Peaches lost her 2nd tooth-which she pulled out all by herself. How exciting! No tears this time because she is a pro now.
Peaches letter to the Tooth Fairy.

Playing in the rain
Em smiling big for the camera-this was before she decided to walk into the pool all by herself then be rescued by dad with all his clothes & shoes on. I didn't take a picture of the after. I was still in shock.
Cousin Naomi getting ready to jump into the pool.
The Roberts obviously don't know how to pose for pictures. I don't think we got a descent picture out of the bunch we took. The expression on Peaches face is hilarious.
Relaxation after our big lunch....watching Cinderella 3. We ate Pork Tacos for lunch, my friend's crock pot recipe. Yum! 6 pounds of pork is all gone now.
Peaches with her grandparents, Gran & Grumps.
Cousins and BFF's. I am so thankful that they get along so well together. Peaches is Naomi's big sister.
Peaches before her baptism. She is so beautiful, both inside and out.
This one cracks me up! Look where Uncle Drew's finger is pointing. Gross.

Turning 8 is Great!

Turning 8 is great-this was the theme for Peaches birthday party. Oh yeah, and we turned the kids blue too.
We had Peaches birthday party at Skate Station USA for the 2nd year in a row. It holds all of us, is pretty inexpensive, fun, they play good music and the kids have a blast.
Of course eating cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches is the best part.
For goody bags John and I made CD's for each one of the kids. Now they can listen to some of Peaches favorite Summer Jams (by Demi Lavato, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Troy, Mitchell Musso and Aly & AJ). Sorry I didn't get any pictures of Peaches-I was on roller skates the entire time and couldn't keep up with her or any of the kids for that matter. I think we ended up having 15 kids there. Pretty good turn out. I'd call this a success.

Trip to VA Part Uno

We spent a fair amount of time in my sisters pool (when it wasn't 100 degrees outside).
In the early morning we had fun riding my dad's 4 wheeler. I think this was Em's favorite part of the day.
We had a birthday luncheon at Lone Star Steakhouse to celebrate Peaches, Aunt Alli and my birthday.
Peaches and her cousin Andrew had a slumber party at Grandma's house.

We took the girls to eat at my favorite place in town, Georgia's Pizza (and I don't even get their pizza, they have the best Ham sandwich ever).
Peaches and T-Bone. These two are inseparable.
Pool time.
Again.
My nephew Eric and Em on his "toy".
Papa and Em out cruising the neighborhood.
A bunch of cousins.
My family at Fujiyha Steakhouse (again celebrating our birthdays). This was our last night in VA so we made the most of it.
Gran and Grumps took us to Famous Dave's. YUM!
