Pets, Inc.

Pets, Inc. posted this on their website and on Facebook.
Each year, Georgia, Jayden and Gracie plan and set up a lemonade stand in their neighborhood to raise money for the animals who need help. This year they brought in $42 on the very day that this little dog came in needing medical attention and a place to stay. It may sound hokey but these girls truly demonstrate that ... all you need is love!

Download Overload

Once a year we get our yard cleaned up and tree limbs cut back. We hire the same guy so he knows exactly what I like. I have actually hired him to come quarterly so my neighbors can stop talking about how trashy our yard is. I feel so clean when my yard is leaf free.

Poor trash guys had a load to take away that day!
Yes, I let my children climb on top of the table and counter tops. Guess who started this first? Yup-Em.
Em loving Monkey Joes!
Our new to us V8 Pick-Em-Up Truck. Love the truck and hate the gas bill. Notice the new kayak that John got for Valentines Day, Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary, Presidents Day and any other Holiday in 2012.
Peaches and I made flower pens for the teachers for Valentine's Day.
This past Saturday Peaches and her two BFF's ran a lemonade stand and make $42 for Pets, Inc. They sold bottled water, cookies and lemonade. Since they did so well this time we will step it up on the next one (when the weather warms up). They gave away free candy for every purchase, the refills were free and some lucky customers even got free cookies (hot out of the oven too). Some customers got suckered into buying cookies even when they only wanted lemonade. Those girls really worked their stuff. I can't say even how very proud I was for all their hard work.
When they made their donation to Pets, Inc. the volunteer treated them like Royalty. She gave them a puppy (that was being adopted) to hold and took down their names and took plenty of pictures of them to post up in the lobby. It was a very rewarding experience for them (and very tiring for mom and dad). Many, many thanks to those that supported the girls!

Father-daughter dance. I get so excited this time of year because I think the father-daughter dance is so special. Em just couldn't let them have their moment. She wanted to shine too.

Peaches felt like such a princess that night. She was so excited.
I do believe that I have the best children in the world-and the most beautiful too.
Notice Peaches face in the background. I just couldn't get a decent picture if I tried.
I was able to get the entire family into EdVenture for $9.50. Good thing too because it is soooo not worth the $40 we would have spent.
My favorite part of course is the Little Pigs Grocery Store.
Em liked hearing all of the beeps.

Bathroom remodels (1/2 done). The counter tops, mirrors, sink, light fixtures, and tile floors are all new. The cabinets have new doors and are freshly painted. We just need to paint the walls and we are done. I absolutely hate painting so it just might stay mismatched for a while longer. I know I am driving most of you nuts so feel free to volunteer to paint. You would think with my OCD that this would bother me........nope.
