This is what the Roberts Family did on Sunday. Our bellies were full of chicken enchiladas and motorcycle racing was on TV (like that isn't reason enough to put you to sleep).

Post Delivery Update:
On Friday I went to see the midwife because I was having difficulties healing from the delivery. Well, the midwife noticed that the stitches I had 3 weeks ago were NOT working so they had to take an alternate approach. I was told that I had two options....I could either be restitched (and since that obviously didn't work the first time I better not chose that option) or to cauterize the areas (that at this time were raw). I won't be too graphic so let's just say that silver nitrate was involved, lots of pain, two midwifes and a nurse walking me through the procedure, one midwife holding my hand, me crying like a baby, more crying and oh yeah.....more crying. About 30 minutes later I was on my way home (still crying) with 2 prescriptions for drugs. I had NO idea that my "simple" checkup would turn into such a painful ordeal! I drove myself home and spent the rest of the day and night in agony. I was proud of myself for not getting the pain meds filled and for toughing it out. Sleep helped a lot so Saturday wasn't sooo terrible. I feel better today but still not myself. Let's just hope that on my next appt in June I will be healed and won't have to go through that procedure again.
