My baby started 1st Grade this year. She made her own Back to School sign. She started off the day with a new bookbag and matching lunchbox. Her teacher sent a note home that day stating Peaches had a great day in first grade.

My Birthday Month
My wonderful husband and Peaches bought me gift cards to 2 of my favorite stores, Victoria's Secret and New York & Company. This month I was taken out to lunch by my parents, co-workers, my in-laws and then another very good friend. I received birthday wishes for several weeks and some very touching and funny cards (with $$) in the mail. Today I used my gift cards and bought myself the new Demi Bra and some perfume. I then bought 4 pairs of dress pants for $19.00 (after discounts, coupons, and gift cards). I then treated Peaches and I to a manicure for only $15. It has been a fabulous birthday month. Thanks to everyone for the gifts, treats and wishes.
Peaches Birthday Weekend

Peaches celebrated her 6th birthday at Old Mill Pizza on Aug 8th. We all had the best time. Peaches got so many presents and money. Her big gift was an IPOD Shuffle that she bought with her own birthday money. Her favorite tunes are Micheal Jackson's "Beat It", "Thriller" and "Billy Jean". It think her best gift was her grandparents came from Virginia to spend the weekend with her.

Roberts Family

This weekend we had all of John's family in town. John's parents and his brother Scott and his family traveled from VA with their 5 children. John's brother Andrew and his family came up from Summerville. They were all here to go with John, Peaches and I to the Temple. It was a very special day. We had a wonderful time with all of them and we already miss them. The visit was too short of course. Here are some pictures. Oh, I want to thank my dear friend Jen, who opened up her house to all 15 of us. The kids had a great time swimming! After the pool we came back to the house to eat pizza and play the Wii.

Granny went wild on the trampoline. Even though she didn't jump very high, she was still brave to get on and try it. I was so proud of her. We had a great weekend with my parents. They took Peaches and I out for our birthday to The Outback. YUM!! We went shopping, out to lunch, cooked a delicious Turkey dinner on Sunday after church and just relaxed. The visit was too short of course but we are so glad that they came down (even though it was the HOTTEST weekend ever).
